This annual event, which is organised by Suzy Lamplugh Trust, is aimed at highlighting some of the simple, practical solutions that everyone can use to help avoid violence and aggression in today’s society. It’s about helping people live safer, more confident lives.
This year’s theme is “Door 2 Door”
The Door 2 Door theme will look at the personal safety issues in your journey from when you leave your door and reach the door of your destination. This could include leaving your home to go to work or leaving school to get to a youth centre.
Judging by the number of tweets going about at the moment it is great to see that, once again, the Suzy Lamplugh Trust has organised another very successful initiative to help us think a little more carefully about the journeys we take.
