National Personal Safety Day, which is organised by Suzy Lamplugh Trust, is an annual event aimed at highlighting some of the simple, practical solutions that everyone can use to help avoid violence and aggression in today’s society. It’s about helping people live safer, more confident lives.

This year’s theme is “Door 2 Door”

The Door 2 Door theme will look at the personal safety issues in your journey from when you leave your door and reach the door of your destination. This could include leaving your home to go to work or leaving school to get to a youth centre.

I know that many of the Neighbourhood Watches and Police services that link to The Crime Prevention Website will already have planned their events to support this important day, but if you still need help here again is the link to the all important website where you can access many free resources:
