Because I’ve been running this website for two-and-a-half years I know that there are certain days in the week that are busy for crime prevention and certain days that are not.
The busiest day of the working week for me is Monday followed by Tuesday then Thursday then Wednesday and finally Friday, with Friday being 25% quieter than Monday. Saturday is the quietest day of the whole week, but Sunday is always busier than Friday and often busier than Wednesday. Have you kept up with me?
These differences are pretty much consistent over the year, so much so that I can predict within 50 visitors either way, how many visitors I will get on the Friday if the number of visitors on the Monday hits a particular figure.
This is why I send out my important emails and my newsletter on a Monday, because if I sent them on a Friday or (gawd forbid) on a Saturday then several hundred fewer people would see them.
So what is it about Friday? Why are things so dead?
You’ll be pleased to know that I have no idea!
