Ben’s found this very interesting and true story about a Hermit living in the woods of central Maine.
For nearly thirty years and in order to survive Christopher Knight committed many, many crimes. With the exception of his eye glasses everything he possessed had been stolen. He lived in a tent, didn’t light fires for fear of being discovered and he only ever stole food, kitchenware, propane tanks and reading material and a few other items.
As it’s such a wet and cold bank holiday Monday I thought you might like to take fifteen minutes out to read this amazing account of survival, which I’ve no doubt will become a Hollywood movie in the fullness of time.
