I happen to know that a lot of police officers and PCSOs come onto my website in search of crime prevention information. This is good to know; because that’s one of the main reasons I created the site.
What they may not realise is that I’ve created a couple of pages just for them (shown below), which they may find useful if they’re offering help to a victim of burglary. And there’s also access to Neil Henson’s (another retired policeman) Problem Solving guide, which can be applied to all sorts of crime and anti-social behaviour problems.
For some police services I’ve put together tailor-made advice, such as the guide I produced for Lancashire Constabulary to advise small businesses closing up for the Xmas holidays, which can now be used by any police force – providing they acknowledge the source with a link.
So, if you’re a police officer or PCSO or you work for the police in crime prevention and need some help don’t hesitate to get in touch. If I can help, I will.
