This morning I updated this website’s list of police services and Police and Crime Commissioners (PCC).
For each police service you’ll find a link to their news and advice pages and then one to the PCC’s home page. This is the third time I’ve had to do this in the past 15 months owing to several police services launching new websites and, of course, the PCC elections back in May.
Because you’re reading this and are maybe on my site looking for some crime prevention advice I would recommend you also visit your police service website to see what they have to say about your crime prevention problem. Some are a lot better than others, but it’s always a good idea to pay them a visit as you might pick up some information about current crime trends in your neighbourhood. Also, do visit www.police.uk where you can find out more about the volume and type of crime that is being committed in your local area.
Up-to-date information is very important when you’re upgrading your home security.
