I was updating a few links on my website today when I came across an unpublished page summarising a number of home improvement projects where there are opportunities to improve home security at the same time. Goodness knows why I left it unpublished, but having now updated the original I’ve made it live for you all to read.
There’s nothing particularly new about the information given on the page, but it is making the point that home security should always form a part of your project’s planning and design process. You are only likely to be doing these jobs once, so don't miss out on the opportunity to do them right.
The projects I’ve highlighted thus far are:
- Replacement doors and windows
- Rear and side extensions
- New porches and recessed front entrance doors
- Garden landscaping
I have no doubt I will be adding to the list over the coming years.
