I am really pleased to report that the numbers of Home Security Surveys completed on this website have increased rapidly this month. These rises have been driven by both the draw prize competition we’re running with Switched on Products to win a light switch timer and some of our police services.
I know Lancashire Constabulary have officially recognised the site and have been sending many hundreds of householders to it for some extra advice and it’s clear that a number of individuals from other forces have been doing the same, including, this month, the PSNI and West Midlands. So thank you to all those people who value what we’re doing, because we’ve now hit 5,000 completed surveys and the anonymous information we are deriving from it is going to help us focus in on the most common security weaknesses that need sorting out.
Now the numbers warrant some changes we will be working on some new investigative software in the New Year to better analyse the findings so we can bring you much more detail, so watch this space!
In the meantime here’s the Top Ten Table so far this quarter with the County at the top of the list being the one from which most surveys have originated – well done again to Lancashire and welcome Antrim for the first time.
- Lancashire
- London
- West Midlands
- Essex
- Buckinghamshire
- Antrim
- Berkshire
- North Yorkshire
- West Yorkshire
- Kent and Gloucestershire
And don’t forget if you do the survey before the end of January you’ll have a chance to enter our free prize draw (Conditions apply)
