The Crime Prevention Website

Great News!

Bognor Regis Neighbourhood Watch Association (BRNWA) is now reciprocally linked with The Crime Prevention Website.

Interestingly, BRNWA is one of the oldest watches in the country, having been formed in 1984. It’s also one of the largest, covering more than 14,000 households located within the 240 active street schemes in the urban area of Bognor Regis; from Pagham to Middleton and Elmer.  Judging by the minutes that are published on their website you’ll also see that the Association is very active too!

If you live in the area and would like to know more about your local Watch I do hope you pay their site a visit and get in touch with them.  Like all Watches they’re always looking for a little help, so if you can occasionally spare an hour or two I just know they would love to hear from you.

It’s always a delight when another Neighbourhood Watch group makes the decision to link to The Crime Prevention Website. This is because it gives me an opportunity to bring that particular Watch to your attention via my news and Facebook pages and because their residents now have ready access to my site and its 220,000 words of free advice, including the Home Security Survey application.

The ongoing reduction in police budgets is going to affect the ability of the police to effectively police the streets (Many of the Chief Constables are saying this) and I believe that well-organised Watches, such as those in Bognor Regis, are going to make a real difference in the future, especially when it comes to preventing crime.

Do please visit the website of the Bognor Regis Neighbourhood Watch Association and become involved. http://www.bognornhw.org.uk/home.aspx
