Thanks to Imaan J. Williams from Neighbourhood Watch Hide Tower Scheme (Central London) for reminding me that July is Scams Awareness Month.
Imaan recently sent this message to her neighbourhood watch members and I thought it might be very useful to repost it on my site and Facebook page.
July is Scams Awareness Month 2015, an opportunity to fight back against scammers who cost UK consumers millions of pounds each year. Trading Standards and Citizens Advice are teaming up to promote awareness of scams and to give you the skills and confidence to spot & stop scams.
