Our winter prize draw competition to win a Light Switch Timer, courtesy of Switched-on Products, has now come to an end and the winners will be selected this week.
As you’ll know, we asked those entering to conduct our Home Security Survey, subscribe to our Newsletter and follow us on Twitter and some of you chose to do all three to increase your chances of winning. What we were really hoping for is that having completed the home security survey it would make you think about crime prevention and perhaps for some this would have acted as a catalyst for a little full-on security action over the next few weeks! Let’s hope so!
I know many of you have been following the progress of this website and so for you here are a few figures that might interest you. Our Newsletter Subscribers now stand at 818. We are being followed on Twitter by 1,214 Tweeters and the total number of Home Security Surveys now completed stands at 3,797!
During January the following counties returned the most surveys (Highest at the top):
- London
- Buckinghamshire
- Essex
- West Yorkshire
- Cheshire
- Berkshire
- Hampshire
- West Midlands
- Derbyshire
- Surrey
Now we realise that lots of people who entered our competition did so just for the prize and will unsubscribe from the Newsletter and un-follow us on Twitter just as soon as the prize winners are announced. What’s heartening though is that we only lose around 30% over the following weeks, which makes the whole exercise that much more rewarding.
