Just found out today that East Petersfield Community Group in Hampshire has linked up with us to provide their community with some crime prevention advice.
The Group, which was formed in May 2010, represents all residents within their catchment area, which includes 750 homes plus a few local businesses.
Since the group formed they have reduced anti-social behaviour, resurfaced roads and footpaths, improved the area by holding clear-up days, planted community trees, cut back overgrown hedge rows and tackled problem places. Residents also helped with the design and public liaison when their new play park was installed.
They work closely with local councils, housing associations, the police and other organisations and their goal is to improve their community and the wellbeing of residents in their part of Petersfield.
