We’re delighted to announce our first link up with a Neighbourhood Watch in Leicester!
Kingswood Area Neighbourhood Watch (KANW) is located in the Western Park area of Leicester, which is a group of five registered neighbourhood watches covering 380 residential and 3 commercial properties.
The roads covered by KANW are Ainsdale Road, Dorchester Road, Kingswood Ave, Oakthorpe Ave and part of Wyngate Drive (Nos 119-151).
The aim of the KANW is to help people protect their properties, reduce fear of crime and improve their local environment by:
- Helping improve home security by giving security advice.
- Increased vigilance.
- Creating a community spirit.
- Improving their environment
They’ve recently formed a partnership with local locksmiths, Morgans Locksmiths, and operate their website to keep local people right up to date with crime stats and alerts and crime prevention advice.
We feel really good that KANW have chosen to link to us and we hope that the local residents will find our pages useful.
