How to use a multi-point locking door

Last week one of my wife’s clients was burgled because she hadn’t properly locked her multi-point locking front door.  She was under the impression that lifting the inside handle was all she needed to do!

Now, whilst I think a lot of door manufacturers and suppliers could do more to help people use these doors correctly – maybe a sticker to pop on the back of the door might help – I can't wait for that and so I’ve created a new page on the site (with pictures), which I hope will give readers all the help they’ll need.

Thousands of burglaries occur each year because people don’t understand how these otherwise very secure doors actually work, so please pass on this message to others and let’s help spread the message about this problem
