The Crime Prevention Website

We’re delighted to announce a new link to the website of the Sandwell Crime Prevention Panel.

The Sandwell Crime Prevention Panel is a registered charity working in the Borough of Sandwell to promote crime prevention and community safety. They are made up of mainly unpaid volunteers from the local community with diverse backgrounds.

They work closely with the Community safety team based at West Bromwich police station and with Sandwell MBC, Red Cross and Victim Support to name just a few.

This is a very active Panel, which attends more than forty events each year where they engage with many thousands of people.  This year they have issued hundreds of home safety packs, ultra-violet property marking pens and purse bells.  They also give crime prevention presentations to many groups throughout the year, including Neighbourhood Watches.

This year they have celebrated 40 years of service!

We are really pleased to have formed this new link with a fantastic group of volunteers who are doing largely unsung work to help their local communities. We hope the link will in some small way benefit their members and assist the public they serve.
