Some of you may not know that The Crime Prevention Website also has a Facebook page. We use it to promote our main website, but the page carries the same news stories we post up on the main site plus posts by others.
In recent days I’ve noticed that the number of new ‘likes’ has increased quite dramatically, which is obviously great news, because some of these new ‘likers’ will have visited the main site. As you can imagine a large percentage of likes are from residents in the UK, but in recent weeks it’s been US citizens that have been pressing that like button more often.
It’s good to know that the page and the main site have an international appeal, which is due in a large part to the English language.

- Texas
- Cebu City, Philippines
- Sheffield, UK
- Worcester, UK
- Newcastle-upon-Tyne, UK
So thanks to all of you ‘likers’, wherever you’re from, it means a lot!
