We are really pleased to see that the Campton and Chicksands Parish Website has placed a link to our website from their Homewatch page. This follows our recent link up with Bedfordshire Police.
The Parish of Campton and Chicksands (which was formed in 1985) is situated approximately 9 miles southeast of the town of Bedford.
Many Parish and Community websites include a page to help their local Neighbourhood Watch or Homewatch, because neighbourhood watch is all about local crime issues affecting local people. The Campton and Chicksands Parish site is a case in point and is in effect a one-stop information shop for the residents of the 300 or so homes in the Parish.
The Homewatch page is kept up-to-date with relevant information being posted up each week.
If I lived in the Parish I would most certainly be visiting the site regularly and if you are involved in your Parish and it doesn’t have its own site you may want to visit this one to see just how much information you can provide your local community.
